Made this purse for my wife. Used a 9" wide by 4" thick canteen gourd. Inset a 1945 .50 cent piece medallion. Hinged the lid with a strip of leather and riveted latch. Stamped feet into the 30" leather strap, used conches and leather tassels for decoration.
